By not caring about feelings of others, you can only create disharmony in your surroundings and that in turn make everyone live unhappy. So if you want to have harmony among people and live a happy life, you should learn to care about the feelings of others.

In this cut-throat competitive world, almost everyone is busy rushing to and fro in order to live decent lives that they do not even try to realize that what positive changes they can bring in their lives by caring about the feeling of others. Sometimes, differences are quite natural among the people. If the disagreement appears, you should take an initiative to resolve it with discussion without hurting the sentiments of other people. And if the person invalidates you, the best alternative in front of you could be to avoid them, and if you cannot avoid them altogether, you should make sure to spend less time with them and do not let them make you feel miserable. While caring for the feelings of others it is also essential to take care of your feelings as well.

Finally, to care about the feelings of others it is not essential to pretend to be someone you are not in reality. You just need to inculcate a habit to listen to others carefully, often offer your advice only if they ask for it, and never try to change others but to try to accept them as they are. Once you learn to care about the feelings of others, you will always find someone in the trial and tribulations of your life.
